Hourly Tutor Positions Open 

     Do you love 2nd grade? Well, they would love to have you work with them five days per week, 3.5 hours per day. If you are interested in more information, please give me a call or email.       (206.252.6015 or scjaskot@seattleschools.org) This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in our school. 

Volunteer Opportunities 

  • Serve on the BF Day Beautification Committee
  • Help sort and organize computer cables for our PTSA room
  • Help coordinate logistics for a BF Day fundraising video
  • Help with this year’s Arty Party Auction even

BF Day does Family Dinner! 

On October 18th at 5pm, please join your BF Day community for potluck in the cafeteria.

Food assignments are A-I: Salad; J-S: Main Course; T-Z Dessert.  Please label any allergens (nuts, dairy, soy, etc).

The PTSA will provide plates, utensils, napkins and drinks.  Please come and share a meal, whether you have a dish or not. There will be enough food for everyone!

 

Can you help? We need YOUR INPUT on 2018-19 budget

The PTSA Budget Committee is planning next year's budget and we need your input on what programs you'd like funded for the 2018-19 school year. Family School does Family Dinner

On February 7th, an amazing group of volunteers led by Michal Inspektor planned, prepped, and cooked a spaghetti family dinner for 270 people! Thank you to all who planned, volunteered, helped, organized, art-ed, decorated, cooked, and more!

 

WE DID IT! We raised $67,978!!

With so much gratitude. . . 

This year, 170 pledged donations from 137 families and 9 local businesses has raised $67,978 to help support and enrich the learning environment of 307 beautiful young minds at B. F. Day Elementary School Thank you all!!

 We're getting a new Uppers Playground!

After more than a year of planning and gathering financial support, the Playground Team will be supervising the installation of the new playground on August 19th and August 26th.

We need help on Saturday, August 19th between 10-4. There are mutliple shifts, so sign up when you can.  If you've ever desired to build a playground, your day is August 26th! The manufacturer installation supervisors will be there to help volunteers actually make the new playground. EXCITING!
