October 31 – November 14
Donating to Direct Drive supports learning for all students and helps make school more fun!
What is the Direct Drive?
The Direct Drive is our largest fundraiser and our only direct ask to families for support.. We are still planning some fun events in spring, but there will not be a separate request for staff holiday gifts and appreciation – that has been rolled into the overall PTSA budget.
On October 31, your child will come home from school with a Golden Envelope that includes a letter and a pledge form. We ask that every family consider making a gift that is meaningful to them – together, we can meet our fundraising goal!
We understand that each family’s circumstances and situation is different, so our focus is on participation – each student returning a gold envelope. Even if you contribute on-line, please send the golden envelope back to school with your child by November 14. You can also drop it off at the school office. Each classroom that has at least 80% of their envelopes returned will get $300 to spend on their classroom library and materials!
The needed supplementary funding for the 2025-2026 school year is the equivalent of $824 per student. The per-student cost is higher this year, than in the past, because our enrollment is down 52 students (344) compared to last year (396). See https://bfdayptsa.org/give/ for more detailed financials.
