Questions and comments for BF Day PTSA General Membership meeting Oct 23rd

Thank you for your interest in sharing questions ad comments for our Oct 23rd PTSA General Membership Meeting.

This meeting is a great opportunity to meet the PTSA Board and members of your community in person, hear from Interim Principal Eckert, vote on actions the PTSA takes, and learn more about how you can be involved in our school community!

We will gather your questions here and do our best to get them answered during the Q&A. We will share your comments with the PTSA Board members. You may submit questions and comments anonymously if you wish. For any questions that we don’t have time to answer live at the meeting, we will post follow-up answers to the BF Day PTSA website (bfdayptsa.org).

Please note: If you are present at the meeting or joining virtually and would like to ask your question yourself, we highly encourage that level of participation!

Each year, the PTSA updates its Standing Rules, which guide how we operate. Below is the draft update for the upcoming year. We will vote on whether to approve this update at the upcoming General PTSA Meeting  Via Google Meet  Thursday, October 23 17:30 – 18:30

Registration opens Saturday, Sept 13th at 8am
Enrollment window  September 13th – September 21
Season dates October 6-December 19 (No activity dates Oct 10, nov 11, Nov 24-28). Watch for more info soon including a link to register.

On the first day of school for K & Pre-K there will be a short optional presentation for K families in the library from 8:00- 8:30am with Principal Eckert and the PTSA. It will be similar to the Kick Off To Kinder family presentation.

Help make the BF Day Popsicle Social extra sweet! Check out the volunteer spots for Thursday, August 28th, 4–5pm. Thanks for lending a hand (and maybe snagging a popsicle)!

Beautify BF Day is hosting a summer work party Sunday, August 24th 9am-11am. We will be painting the blacktop map and 4-squares, plus mulching the back areas. Please join us if you can! Kids welcome, school will not be open. Bring water, wear clothes that can get painted, and garden gloves. Thank you for helping our school community!
